Artist's statement:
Family relationships, identity, and memory are central to
Hildegunn's interests. She uses family snapshots and evocative
objects to examine the multi-layered complexity of 'self'.
She works in both 2D and 3D, using techniques as varied
as printing, textiles, and casting. Much of her work is
based on 'found' objects.
